What is on the table tonight??

And you thought it was food!!! Ha
I have been so eager to make something with this new fabric I picked up on my last trip to North Carolina. It is gorgeous and luxurious in it's feel and color palette. So a jacket it is for this chap!
Ta Da! Now for the fitting. I can't wait to get to the hat!!!! Oh, you know that is my favorite part! I am all about coats, jackets and hats!
The antique button on the top of his vest has the initials G.B. - I will need to think on this ole chaps name. Maybe Sir Gerald Barnabis ?? or Geoffery Buckhorn.  So silly - stay tuned...............

Wee Willie Wierdo - Pumpkin man in the works.......

I just love this guy! Pumpkin headed and Halloween odd dolls are my all time favorites to create. Meet "Wee Willie Weirdo" Hmmmm, I wonder what the rest of him will look like. I've stabbed my finger so many times today it's crazy. Gotta love using the kids Spongebob band-aids.

Yep, That's Me..............

Yes, This is me............... running chicken with my head cut off. Lol!!!! We made the big decision to put our house on the market with plans to move to North Carolina so there has been a lot of cleaning and de-cluttering ( as if that is possible when you are an artist) The kids have just a few weeks left of school and there has been lots of weekend activities! Phew, I'm pooped! Tonight I am carving out time to get into the studio and shut the doors -  back to work and focusing is a must with shows in the Fall. Argh!! I am sometimes not the best juggler but it is "one day at a time" right??? OK, yes really this is one of my beloved chickens Miss Magnolia Pearl making a run for it as my soon to be 4 year old son Eli is chasing her. Wow, the Shenandoah Valley has been a beautiful piece of heaven for us here - it will be a bittersweet move when the time comes. Peace and Love to all.
